Updated on April 29, 2019

Let's Prep For The New Year

With the New Year fast approaching, are you preparing for it early? In terms of New Year's resolutions or are you waiting until the new year is officially here? Everyone knows the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season is winding down, how many of you start prepping for the New Year before January 31st. With a gym membership, or promising to do better the next year? I know that some people think hey Christmas is over, I am going to start exercising and eating right. I need to get back on track, right away. What about the New Year’s parties, though? Christmas does last two weeks. Prepping for the new year can bring limitless thoughts, possibilities, and opportunities to mind.

How do you get ready for the New Year? Do you try to exercise, eat better, and be a better family person? What is it that you do? For me, I have decided that this year is going to be my year, with writing and working out. I am going to start doing Zumba in the New Year and walking more. How many people say that they are going to do, better in the New Year and start off that way but then life gets in the way and things like exercise or whatever you have planned to do for your new year’s resolution get put on the back burner and the limitlessness of getting into the new year and staying healthy or staying on track with your new years resolution is not what you are doing anymore. Is it because of your life, gets in the way?

I know that each year, I have decided to get a new year’s resolution started as of the first of the month, but after about a week it goes down the tubes. Why is that, people might ask I don’t know myself, so this year, I am going to be bound and determined to get what I want out of my new year’s resolution. My mantra is going to be if I put my mind to it, I am going to do it. Isn’t that a good mantra to have?

What are New Year’s resolutions really? Does anyone really know what they are? If you are asking yourself this question I am going to answer it. New Year’s resolutions are secular traditions in the Eastern Hemisphere in which a person makes, a promise to do an act of self- improvement or something slightly nice, such as opening doors for people beginning on New Year’s Day. How many people make a new year’s resolution and stick with it? I know we are all victims of saying hey I am going to make a new year’s resolution and it doesn’t last the entire year. So how can we make a new year’s resolution and make it last?

The New Year Is Fun To Prep For

New Year’s resolutions are always something good to have. They are considered a fresh start in life and anything that you do in it, they are put in place to either benefit people in your community, your family or yourself. How can you keep up with the New Year’s resolution that you plan on doing for the year or the month of January for yourself? First of all, you can organize it into a calendar depending on what it is. You could change your routine in order to make your new year’s resolution stick. Or you can get together with a group of friends who have the same New Year’s resolution as you and you can do it together, everyone knows that doing things in groups makes people work harder and keep up with them.

So how do you prep for the New Year? Do you think of a resolution and say hey yes I can do that and then actually do it, or do you just think of something say you’re going to do it, and not do it at all like I used to be. This year, however, is going to be different I am going to make sure that I do what I say I am going to do with my New Year’s resolution which does Zumba a few times a week. I think that if I do that, I will feel better about myself and maybe I will get further in life. Remember a New Year’s resolution can be anything you want it to be and if you are committed to it, then it will work for you. Don’t give up on your New Year’s resolution because you might have missed a day here and there, you can do it just stay focused and committed to the cause and good things will happen. A New Year’s resolution will benefit you in the end, along with the people around you if you choose to make it work out that way, so don’t give up. Things will always work out in the end.

When the new year hits, how does it make you feel as a person, do you do anything for new years eve, or do you just have family over? I just have family over but I usually prep what I am going to do the next year a few days before, and I work my butt off in order to make what I want to happen the next year happen. In terms of writing, I have decided that each new year, I am going to come up with new posts to write and write them for the first little bit of the new year and then I will go and edit the others to make them better, in terms of blog posts. In other aspects of the year and what I do I am going to always go after something new that I want in my life and make sure that it happens to me. There are always limitless things that are going to happen during the new year, you just have to be ready to roll with the punches when they do, and the best way to do that is to decide to do something new each year and learn from it, in order to make it work for the rest of your life. In whatever aspect.

Prepping for the new year takes limitless planning because you want the new year to be better the last in limitless ways.

I plan to exercise more, and eat less. It is good to set goals for the new year.
