A Haunted House I Lived In
Yes, I Lived In A Haunted House
This lens is about a house I lived in up until the age of 7, that we believe was haunted. Many weird things happened in this house, and, even if you're skeptical, you may be going hmmm when you're done reading this.
There wasn't anything special about the house. It was built in the late 40's. It was your basic rambler with turquoise blue siding. Looking at it from the outside, you would never think there were weird things going on inside it. It got so bad, we had one babysitter that wouldn't sit with her back to any of the doors. The house has been sold many times since my family moved out of it too, so there has to be a reason for that don't you think?

Things That Happened There
My little sister and I used to have a room on the main floor that we shared. We both told our parents that there was a man in our room. Both my mother and father slept in the room a few times to see if they could see what we saw, but they never did. My mom says there was no way a reflection from a window or anything else could make us think we saw a man. When my mom did some research, she found out that there was an old man that died in the house.
Another thing that happened was that the basement lights would come on by themselves all the time. You would shut the light off, and a little while later it would come back on. The switch was too high for any of us kids to reach, so there was no way any of us could have done it.
The sitter that wouldn't sit with her back to any doors? She swears that there were doors and cupboards opening and closing by themselves all the time. Most of this stuff I have to rely on my mom's telling me about, because we moved out of the house when I was 7, but even my mom thinks that the house was indeed haunted.
