Chronic April Holidays: Phat Friday 4/20/2012
Heaven All Wrapped Up in One Day
In the past few decades, cannabis has been making an unprecedented comeback in main stream society. From medicinal users to recreational enthusiasts, there isn't a place in the world you can go without running into your friendly neighborhood cannabis consumer.
Cannabis has made such an impact on our society because of it's prohibition, that it has become more than just a "thing", it has become a LifeStyle . One in which people from every walk of life, take the time to remember the things they are grateful for in life. We have thanksgiving, presidents day, the 4th of july. Why not enjoy a day of cannabis, where we can show our gratitude and pride for the cannabis culture that has made life seem just a little bit better?
One more thing to be thankful for...
If you're into kooky coincidences, then you'll find it interesting to know that next years 4/20 will be on none other, but Good Friday. It shall hence forth be known as Phat Friday.
Good Friday is about remembering the day of Jesus's crucifixion, and since cannabis users are still put up on the metaphorical cross by legal entities, for doing nothing more harmful then the bearded mesiah himself, there is no reason the two days of remembrance can't be easily blended.
Whether you're religious, cannaligious or simply just looking for a unique way to spend that day, then you can easily find a way to celebrate this day of weedom. You won't have another chance until 4/20/2018 to do it again.
