If you are looking for something other than an affordable Easter brunch, here is a brief guide to Easter Egg Hunts that will be taking place in the North County San Diego area.

In Carlsbad, Poinsettia Park 6600 Hidden Valley Road is the annual Easter Egg Hunt and spring festival from 10AM to 1PM, Easter Egg Hunt starts at 10:30 to 12:30,these events take place consecutively on two baseball fields. There will be games, food and photos with the Easter Bunny. Purchase activity cards for $5 in advance, starting mid March through first week of April, at the following North County, San Diego locations.

Allied Gardens Recreation Center, 5155 Greenbriere ave San Diego. Features a Spring egg hunt, be sure and bring a basket to search for the " golden egg." Toddlers start at 11:30, ages 4-6- 1150am. There will be an entertainment performance at 12:10pm, and kids ages 7-12 1230pm, ages 13 and up 1:10pm
Cadman Recreation Center 4280 Avati Dr, San Diego, Specific times for each age group Spring egg hunt, must remember to bring a basket to hunt for eggs.Also, there are often a variety of crafts. Cost $3 for activity bracelet, call for details. 858-581-9929

Spring activities Egg Hunt at 615 prospect, La Jolla 858-552-1658. La jolla Recreation Center was built in 1915, this is a part of historic San Diego. This center is huge and consists of two sand boxes for play and a jungle gym as well as picnic tables. This Egg Hunt has been an annual tradition for many years.
