Sending Photo Christmas Cards

Updated on March 21, 2011

Photo Christmas cards are a great way to let your family and friends know that you are thinking of them during the holiday season and all throughout the year. Everyone loves receiving Photo Christmas cards because it's nice to actually see how your friend or family member is doing, and it's also nice because you know that they really gave some thought to their cards this year.

Photo cards are just a more personalized way to send out Christmas wishes, and they are so appreciated that they are worth the extra thought, expense, and time associated with them. Even if you've never sent out photo cards before, consider doing it this year to blow away your friends and family and give them something to look forward to next year, too!

Photo Christmas cards are fun to receive because they are more than just your typical cards that have a cheesy phrase printed inside. A photo Christmas card takes the phrase "a picture is worth a million words" and puts it into action. A photo Christmas card says it all, so that you don't need a cheesy script on your card; all you need is your photo and a simple happy holidays or merry Christmas to spread your Christmas cheer. Your photo Christmas card will bring cheer and joy to your friends and family members, more than you could know unless you have received a photo Christmas card in the past.

Don't worry, if you don't want to do a typical photo on your Christmas card you don't have to. The photo on your Christmas card doesn't have to be one of you and your family smiling at the camera, it can be a candid picture, or a picture of you and your family on vacation. If there is a new baby in the family your Photo Christmas cards can have pictures of the new baby.

If you bought a new house, consider taking a picture of your family in front of the sold sign and attaching that to your photo Christmas cards to let your friends and family know that you are the proud owner of a new home. You can get as creative as you like with your photo Christmas cards, you don't have to have a typical picture at all!

There are many photo Christmas cards that you can send out with a CD of Christmas music attached. These are fun to give, because a picture and a CD with music in it is not what most people will expect when they open a card so they will be pleasantly surprised.

You just might get thank you cards for your Christmas card if you send something so meaningful, and we all know that we don't usually get thank you cards for sending a card! Photo Christmas cards are just really nice to get, and when you send a CD, too, it's even more fun.

Photo Christmas cards are a lot of fun to send and receive, and even if you've never sent them before you should consider sending them this year. You'll get such a great response you won't be able to help but send them again next year!

Great Hub! I agree that using photos can help make truly personal, unique Christmas cards. They’re fun to coordinate and fun to receive, too. Photo cards also especially appreciated by long distance friends and family who don’t get to see their loved ones as often as they’d like.
