Honoring Your Mother.
We try to thank our Mothers for the numerous sacrifices they made for us, losing sleep when we got sick, comforting us even when she is in pain too, giving us their best at all times. Making us what we are, helping us to visualize things in a broader way, instilling in us the belief that we are capable of achieving whatever we want.
Our gifts in boxes, our material token of appreciation seems puny compared to what our mothers have given us. A mere "Thank You, Mother" are such small words that doesn't seem to suffice when we think really take a moment to think about what being a Mother entails. Life wouldn't be so beautiful if it was without our Guardian Angels, our Mothers!

A Mother's Day Poem.
A Mother is to have and to hold for all eternity,
These are the words for you to have and to hold
To keep in your hearts forever,
Ask me what a mother is and I shall tell you,
Mothers are the ones who brings and to a day,
They can turn a plain house into a happy home,
Mothers are the ones who knows how to make everything beautiful
A place to be remembered no matter where we roam......
Moms are meant to be as warm as sunshine,
As fresh and sweet as spring,
With smiles and hugs and laughter and gifts of joy to bring.
Mothers helps your hopes and dreams come true -
She's the person you turn to through the good times and the bad,
A mother's love can never be destroyed,
A mother's love can never be taken away from you.....
She will always be there for you,
She feeds with her smile,
She warms you with her heart,
A mother's love is to have and to hold,
Throughout all eternity,
For all the special things you do,
I've always changed and grown with you,
Thank you Mom for showing your loving devotion in so many affectionate ways!
This is why in all the world there could not be another
Who could fill the special shoes as completely as a MOTHER!!

Happy Mother's Day in Spanish
A Spanish Poem for Mothers
Madre, eres la flor
Que ha nacido en mi jardin,
Mas hermosa que un jazmin,
Por tu maravilloso color.
Te recuerdo con amor,
Porque para mi has sido,
Del mondo lo mas querido
De mi vida, la mas hermosa.
La mas bella de las rosas
de mi jardin florecido.
In this short poem Israel Dias Maqueira tells his Mother that she is the most beautiful flower in his garden. Poema a mi Madre.

My Mother, My Heroine.
My Mother is my Heroine.
My mother is a quiet lady. She is such a delicate, fragile person, who is very strong willed when she thinks that she has is right about something (believe me, she is always right). She doesn't hesitate to champion or fight for us and would do what it takes to get the job done no matter how much we protest.
She would be in tears sometimes, but she would never give me the real explanation, for her tears, when I asked.
I always remember the last time that I saw her tears. I was 15 years old at that time, I had thoughtlessly left to visit the next door neighbor without telling her. I lost track of time, and took a long time before I went home.
My Mother was standing on the street by our driveway looking both ways, when I got back.
She didn't know that the neighbor's kids were home so she didn't knock on the door or which direction I had gone, and since I took such a long time to return home, she got scared and started crying. When I asked her why she was crying, she said "nothing."
But I saw the panic on her face, I felt horrible, I caused those tears by being thoughtless. I never went for a visit to the neighbors again, I did not want to be the cause of her tears ever again. Now that she is in her golden years, I only want to protect her from anything and anyone who wants to take advantage of her because she is an old lady.
I know that there are many of you who feel the same way about your Mother. Be sure treasure the moments that you have with your her, she really needs to see you smile in her direction and she need to know that you care that she is your Mother. Doesn't matter if she says, " Ah Hah! you did something wrong didn't you?" When you tell her that you love her.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR MOTHER FOR GRANTED.
Have a Happy Mother's Day!
