Ideas for Spongebob Squarepants Birthday Party Decorations-Everyone Loves Spongebob

Updated on March 27, 2015

Getting Ideas for A SpongeBob Birthday Party

Most people may just see SpongeBob as that silly yellow sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea but I bet if you ask your kids, SpongeBob Squarepants is one of the coolest kids around!

If you have little ones then you know what I mean, he is so much more than just a sponge.

So getting ideas for a SpongeBob Squarepants birthday party including the decorations you need can be a pretty important task.

I think you will find on your quest that SpongeBob has fans of all ages making it easy to get ideas for decorating.

SpongeBob Birthday Decorations

First you will want to choose a particular style or design of SpongeBob Squarepants Birthday Decorations.

Once you determine that, you can start getting your supplies and any additional decorations you may need.

You will want to decide how many kids you will invite and if their parents will also attend, that will let you know about the quantities you will need.

Here are some of the basics you will want to consider when buying your party supplies:

  • Invitations
  • Plates
  • Cups
  • Bowls (if ice cream is on the menu)
  • Napkins
  • Forks & Spoons
  • Tablecloth
  • Party Favors
  • Party Favor Bags
  • Party Hats
  • SpongeBob Birthday Cake
  • Balloons
  • Party Streamers
  • Thank You Cards

Once you have gathered your supplies, you can start mailing your invitations and gathering other supplies that you might want to use.

Whether you are having the party indoors or outdoors, you could also use things like seashells, beach balls, and bubbles to decorate with. If you do get to have it outdoors you might also consider adding squirt guns. If you have any SpongeBob Yard Inflatables, you might work them into the decorations as well.

If you do plan on letting them have a squirt gun battle be sure to let the parents know so they can plan accordingly.

SpongeBob Birthday Party Favors

Depending on the age of the kids, you will want to get party favors that suits that age groups. For example for toddlers, SpongeBob Coloring pages might be a good idea but for older kids you might want to consider pencils, stationary or even bubbles.

Kids of any age are going to love party hats and horns! So be sure to make yourself a list so you will not forget something that is essential to your birthday party theme. A great way to save money and plan ahead is to shop online. Ebay and Amazon both have some great deals when it comes to SpongeBob Squarepants Birthday Decorations.

You can save both time and money and do your shopping while the kids are asleep or at school. It is really a win-win situation. You can also find themes you might not find in your local retail stores. If you are planning on making the cake, you can also find SpongeBob cake decorating kits.

Everyone loves SpongeBob so whatever theme you decide to go with, I am sure it will be a hit. Having a plan for your SpongeBob birthday party will make everything go smoothly and ensure the kids will all have fun!

You're right, almost everyone loves Sponge Bob Square Pants. My husband and I even love watching it with my little granddaughter. Your ideas for the birthday cake and party gifts are the best I've seen yet.

Blessings to you. Voted up, useful and funny.

Thanks Liola Lee and Truckstop Sally,

We find ourselves all watching the older episodes too. We lived in Texas for a short time and Sandy holds a place in my heart too!

      Hello Phil,

My youngest like Dora when he was a toddler but after a little while he decided he thought it was more for girls. But Dora is great too, lots of learning going on in the form of fun!

I love Spongebob too! Since I'm from Texas, Sandy is one of my favorites. But a bibble under the sea -- c'mon! I love the episodes when he is trying to get his driver's license.
