The Agony of the CROSS

Updated on January 18, 2015

Agony of the Cross

Am I guilty for murderring an innocent man?

Redeemer, ransom to everyone!

Though I to be blame of this blasphemy?

Son of God, forgive me!

Am I to be judge?

For causing thee, thy pain and sorrow?

Shedding thy blood for a cause,

Enlight me with thy mercy gracious Lord

Thy faith is un ending song

Last breath of his earthly will

Am I to be blame of his death?

Jesus Christ, am I forsake?

Your promise, eternal life

My prayers were lifted high

Devoted deeply in faith, this rosary

Evidence of your power and mercy

Bob I think of the world as a poem. Everyone, anyone, anything can be describe deeply in a poem which other literature can not. I am grateful that you love my poem. God Blessed you Bob.

I think you have a mastery over emotions and thoughts more than you realize. I enjoy them. and often your poems hit on that point on my heart and put into words things that I didn't think words could describe. Bob.

Bob you motivate me to create more inspiring poem. I am from Philippines and english is not our native tongue, yet I am trying my best to share my thoughts and reflection to simple things that are sometimes ignored. I am grateful that you love this little piece I call art. Thank you very much Bob.

A wonderful realization that we are the reason He came to die and we are the reason He suffered so much. But it is true that He has forgiven us and we can find peace in His name. All we need do is call out to Him and receive Him to us. This is a very beautiful poem and I voted up and beautiful. Bob.
