The Hype on Halloween

Who is excited for Halloween? The excitement surrounding Halloween is limitless, people get to dress up, decorate their houses and go and get candy to hand out to the little trick or treaters that come by. Halloween has been around for 2,000 years. Halloween has been popular since the 1950's. When it comes to trick or treating, however when is enough, enough. Should Halloween just be for kids, wasn’t that what it was meant for?

It is meant for kids, to dress up as their favorite character or villain from a television show the list is limitless. The hype about Halloween is kids going door to door asking for Candy and the sugary treats that people hand out on this day. I don’t participate much in Halloween.

Halloween is more about kids having fun with their friends, although parents are dragged out to trick or treat with the younger kids. If they dress up most of the time they get candy too. It is all about the treats now in the 21st century than the tricks that it was during the 1950's. The hype on Halloween is the excitement of getting something that you wouldn't normally get from your own house. At least that is what I think it is, that is why at a certain age when kids get older and can just go out and get whatever candy they want themselves, then the novelty of trick or treating wears off and people stop going door to door asking for candy.

I remember the last time I went out for Halloween I dressed up and took my brother out. He is four years younger than me and it was fun for him so I decided that I would go just to keep him company, and if I was going to go out and keep him company why wouldn't I dress up? Even though you might not like the idea of taking your kid out for Halloween why not try and have fun with it? If you are excited about it even a little bit then your kids are more excited about it. Making kids happy on Halloween and letting them have fun is the entire point of Halloween.

Halloween is limitlessly popular in the month of October because it is associated with fall, farms, pumpkins the list is limitless. At least that is what I think of it as anyway. But the hype about Halloween is all about the candy and dressing up as scary creatures if you are a kid. It is all about the trick or treating. The hype on Halloween is always finding out what treats the kids get at the end of the night, especially if you are a parent because that means you can steal the candy and treats that you like since you can't really go door to door asking for candy being dressed up.

It is all about the candy and how scary you can make your costume, or how cute you can make it. That all depends on what you want to be for Halloween but remember the possibilities are limitless. That is why people get so excited over Halloween because they can be whoever they want and nobody is going to question it since it is a day to be whoever you want.

Halloween Oh Boy

The hype about Halloween is making people feel different and free, because of the fact that they dress up as their favorite superheroes and our favorite princess. The possibilities of what a person can be on Halloween Night is endless, and that is why people like it so much or at least that is why I think people like it so much. The limitless number of different people a person can be for Halloween is limitless because each year there are so many new television shows out that kids love to watch and then be that character for Halloween.

The candy that is sold for Halloween is limitless as well because there is always so many different types of candy available that it is so hard for you to choose when shopping. However, with all the allergies out in this day and age, it is so hard to shop for candy and then hand it out. I remember when I used to go out for Halloween when I was younger but that was because it was a lot more fun when you are tiny. As you get taller and older going out for Halloween isn't fun anymore because you aren't cute and wearing costumes is not something that teens do.

Halloween is for kids to scream and play running from house to house, asking for candy. It is something that all kids look forward to at the end of October. Halloween is for kids to be happy being someone else for a couple hours and get candy out of the deal. Halloween is all about having fun with friends and family going from house to house for candy. Halloween is all about kids being hyper from getting the candy that people are offering when you knock on the door, and saying trick or treat before you get candy from people.

Halloween is that time of year where witches, pumpkins, and ghouls are famous and everyone wants a piece of them. Halloween is also a time for scary parties, that people throw with interesting looking food in shapes of Mommies or Witches the color of the food is usually red or green because those are the colors associated with Halloween. Halloween is all about the candy and spending time with friends and family and being as cool and crazy as the costume's that they are wearing will allow.

Halloween is meant for kids to have fun and be people they may never get to be, it is another way of playing dress up for kids but instead of just dressing up and playing whatever they want to play for fun they go out and get candy because they are dressed up and most people will give anyone candy if they are dressed up in a costume whether you are a child or an adult which is pretty cool at least that is what I do. If you are dressed up you will get candy. They hype on Halloween is all about the candy or at least that is what I think it is anyway.

Halloween is a night of laughter and sugary treats or at least that is what it has been over the years. I am not sure what it is now but I am sure there is still candy that everyone gets and loves. Halloween is for candy and sugar that is how it has always been since the 21st century at least.

Halloween Fun

Halloween night is a night of fun and excitement when you go from house to house asking for candy. It is not only fun for the kids and their parents when their parents see their kids face light up at the sight of a new delicious treat, but for the people handing out the candy as well. It is fun for person handing out the candy as well because they get to see all the cool costumes that people are wearing that year. At least that is what I liked when I handed out candy this year.

I loved Halloween as a kid; now I could care less. I think I'm just worn out by the hype over all the holidays. It's nice to know I'm not alone. :) On another note, I hope you don't leave HP. If there is anything I can do to help you here just send me an email.

I agree with annart; it's the same in Australia. A little can be fun, but it's really being overdone in so many places.

I don't like Halloween. It's followed by many more in Britain now, whereas when I was young it was practically unheard of. It's an 'import' from the US and I find it annoying. I don't like the fact that many old people are frightened by it and the fact that it's basically bribery!

We have Bonfire Night here on 5th Nov, a British tradition celebrating the failure of Guy Fawkes' attempt to blow up Parliament, so it's not as though we have nothing to celebrate in the months up to Christmas. I like to support our own traditions, not someone else's. Ok, rant over from this grumpy grandma!!
