The New Year Comes (a Haiku)

Updated on December 29, 2014
the new year comes...
the new year comes...
A new year to enjoy...
A new year to enjoy...
Brighter days ahead...
Brighter days ahead...
Restful sunsets await...
Restful sunsets await...

The new year's approach,

To bring thoughts of the past year.

Memories each holds,

Those we cherish and so dear.

The good times and bad,

Those acts to be reconciled.

Some we might just change,

Others, well done, so worthwhile.

Acts we do next year,

Those undone, needing repair.

Shall make all complete,

None deplete, to show we care.

Our spirits shall soar, anew...
Our spirits shall soar, anew...
