The chocolate season

Updated on December 19, 2014

Christmas And Chocolates

The season is here when everybody is excited to celebrate a very important date in human history. Before I write about the chocolate season I would briefly state the main reason for Christmas and why many people celebrate it like a taboo but forgeting the reason behind it. For many, it is a season for

  • fun,
  • spending,
  • cooking,
  • visiting friends,
  • family gatherings and the list goes on
  • It is also a time family reunion and many people seize this opportunity to visit their families and spend time together eating, drinking, exchanging gifts and catching up.

Christmas is as described in the bible the month to celebrate the birth of Christ and that is why it is called Christ-mas. This is when Christians make special prayers and joyfully celebrate the birth of Christ the savior joyfully and thanking him, for his coming was of optimum importance to us all.

This is when people start buying chocolates for loved ones. It is no wonder there are all sorts of chocolate, in all sorts of sizes and shapes in this month of Xmas. It`s usually a very exciting moment for everyone when they exchange gifts and that`s when chocolates comes in handy as quick yet loved gifts. One, they are pocket friendly (cheaper) depending on type and where you buy them.

Quick Gift Ideas

Chocolates and flowers are a special ways of gifting those close to you without stretching your wallets. There are times when a chocolate can save a last shopper desperate to grab something last minute.

  • Everyone is now eyeing something special they`d like to buy for their loved ones and businesses are beaming this season eagerly displaying their varieties to chocolate lovers, taunting them with those delicacies that never fail to look amazing year after year. This is the season they double their profits through satisfying the people`s demands.
  • Those smooth milk chocolates with various toppings and fillings, melting in your tongue, who does`t love a good chocolate?
  • I love the displays, different prices and at times, the same chocolate but different brand. But when it comes to Xmas, this is exceptional.

All said lets open up to this season with love, joy, and lots of sharing and let us not forget to extend this love and chocolates to the less privileged around the world and by doing so, we will be celebrating our Lord. Christ love is reflected through the art of sharing.

Thank you Dominic for checking on my hub and for indeed agreeing with me about the idea of really knowing what the true meaning of christmas is and for the fact that extending the love to those less fortunate people at this season is of optimum importance. Keep on being blessed Dominic and everyone who is reading this.

I like the topic chocolate season. Bcos, had i not cme 2 Europe, i wouldnt have known that sme people dnt no the real meaning of Christmas. Wat a pity! 2 celebrate smethin u dnt no the real meaning.

Christmas is a day of remembrance 4 our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ birth.

Bcos, God is luv, Jesus Christ is also luv. In that case, we shd attend 2 the needy like the sick, depressed, oppressed, homeless etc. n show our luv 2 them in Christmas.
