We Wish You Were Here

Around 2 1/2 years ago I first met Guardrail and his wife we call Nana. It was hot and I was marching in front of our courthouse forJustice For Jonathan. Guardrail and Nana both gave me words of support. Since that time we speak regularly on our local forum. The link is at the right.

Guardrail and Nana have been very good friends along with all of the others on the forum. Quite awhile ago, Guard was sent to Iraq. He has been fighting and training young soldiers all for our freedoms.

One of my best friends, we will call him solus vero (which means: Only The Truth in Latin) had a magnificent idea. A Christmas present for Guardrail. You see Solus is very good with the camcorder.

Below is the Christmas present Guardrail received along with some other goodies.

I would like you all to give a few words to Guardrail and his fellow soldiers. They will read this also. You see, our friend Michael who owns and runs the Laclede Forum has my hubs on auto feed to his forum and our good friend in Iraq reads them often.

Guardrail, when you read this my friend, we thank you and the men and women with you for all you do so we can have what we have. Thanks my friend.

Here is the video and some of the pictures Guardrail has shared with us from Iraq..

Be encouraged, Guardrail. We that are still here are honored by your service and pray for our service men often. Let me give you a verse from the heart of David, perhaps the greatest warrior/poet/prophet of all time.

Psalms 144:1 "[A Psalm] of David. Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight: 2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and [he] in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me."

For all the things that you do Frogman I am honored to be considered your friend. The young people that defend or country are amazing in so many ways. I do not know what to say because the honor you all have payed to me should truely be shared by all for I am a "Son of My Country and the Ozarks heritage I am so proud of".

God Bless and Keep You and Know no harm shall befall you or our nation for her vanguard is ever vigilant.
