A fellow human who loves his planet and beyond, with interests that match and never end. One life. One love. Appreciate everything.

The top things you can be doing on New Year's Eve

Here are some great things you could be doing on New Year’s Eve. Some people like to bring in the new year with a bang and others like to bring it in nice and quiet. Either way is fine as long as it makes you happy. Here are some great New Years Eve ideas for you.

Go to time square in New York

New York City hosts one of the biggest celebrations on New Year’s Eve in the western hemisphere. Share the special night with millions of New Yorkers and millions of people viewing the festivities on television. Watch live as the Big Apple drops at midnight. You will never experience anything quite like it.

Visit the Eiffel tower

Visit France over New Years Eve and share in a spectacular display of romantic fireworks like no other. There are definitely many things a person can do in France on New Year’s Eve but the Eiffel Tower is where you should be if you are lucky enough to be in France that evening. Enjoy the Eiffel Tower lighting up and fireworks in clear view.

Spend time with your children

No matter what you are doing if you have children start a tradition and spend time with them. Make the night a special and safe night for the little ones no matter what you end up doing. They will remember it for the rest of their lives.

Go to a movie with friends or family on New Year's Eve

New Years Eve is a good time to go to a movie theater. Some theaters actually close early on New Year’s Eve so make sure to call or check online before you head out. If you are taking your children out for a movie on New Year’s Eve that makes it that much more special.

Stay home with loved ones

Staying home on New Year’s Eve seems to be getting more and more popular as the cost of spending the night out regardless of what you do can end up costing you some serious dollars. On a special night like New Years Eve why not spend it at home with the special people in your life. Make dinner, invite friends over for games drinks and more.

Reflect on the past year

New Years Eve for many is a great time to reflect on the events of the previous year and really ponder how the year unfolded. By paying attention to the past you can then make a change for the better in the future. This year record where you are at in life then next year check out the recording to see how the year went for you.

Start planning for the upcoming year on New Year's Eve

On New Year’s Eve many people sit down and set goals and resolutions for the upcoming year. Some might decide they will not make the mistakes they made in the previous year.

Some people might focus on staying on course and improving their lives. Some can’t think of what goals to set yet they feel they should try to come up with something. I think if you really have something to set a goal for you won’t have to think very hard. Don't feel like you have to set goals because they are not for everyone. If you don't succeed then you will just be setting yourself up for failure. Nobody wants that.

Las Vegas baby

Las Vegas has so many hotels and so many things going on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy the Bellagio fountain with thousands of others while sipping on your favorite beverage.

There are an endless amount of things to do on the Las Vegas Strip on New Year’s Eve for everyone. There are family friendly events and then there are functions going on for adults only.

If you haven’t been to Vegas or are looking for a reason to go back then New Year’s Eve is the time to go. It is fun for all ages.

Volunteer at a homeless shelter on New Year's Eve

Volunteering anywhere is a great activity. Help the unfortunate on a night when everyone is celebrating and forgetting about these down and out people.

Be selfless and help out your fellow human that needs you. You can volunteer at a soup line for New Year’s Eve and still make the party afterwards. How about purchasing some cheap blankets or anything you want and handing them out to the homeless on the street. Protein and cereal bars are great to hand out as well.

Take down Christmas tree and clean up for next year

New Years Eve is a great time to start cleaning up all of the Christmas ornaments decorations and the like so that when you wake up on January 1st you can start the year fresh with a clean organized home. Might even be a great time to throw a bit of junk out and reclaim the space in your home. Most people tend to let things get cluttered at home throughout the year.

Bonus Thing To Do On New Year's Eve

Shop Online.

This time of year (Boxing week) is when you can nab yourself some items at really great prices. Now with the internet and how easy it has become to shop online you don't even have to leave the comfort of your home to purchase things you want at discounted prices. Personally I watch my favorite local store's websites to see what is on sale this boxing week as well as making sure I visit Amazon and similar websites.

One of the things I really love and you should to about shopping online is that you can do price checking on items so easy and so fast that you know you will be getting the best price possible. Don't forget to always consider the cost of shipping when pricing out items. One other thing can do now with online shopping for quite a few stores is reserve product at your local store and go pick it up as soon as the same day. Most stores will let you reserve stuff online and give you up to 24 hours to pick it up before the stores puts the product back on the shelf for sale to everyone else.

That is my bonus thing to do on New Years Eve and well any night will work for online shopping. Just remember to compare prices and consider the cost of shipping with the items sale price to make sure you are getting the best deal possible. Good luck!

Happy New Year's Everyone
