This is the most expensive netbook of the three, at around $420 in the current climate.

The netbook features 1GB of memory and a 250GB hard disk drive, wi-fi capability and Windows 7 Starter Edition.

2 --- Nintendo 3DS

The newest range of the popular games console is set to be extremely popular among Christmas wish lists this year. The 3DS allows the user to play 3D games without needing special glasses. It has lots of built-in features, accessories and games such as Face Raiders.

There are a wide range of games and accessories available for the 3DS and it also plays the original games from the DS Lite and DS XL editions.

The console is priced at $250 and includes a 2GB memory card.

3 --- Baby Annabell – Zapf Creations

This is world's best selling doll and this year is to be no exception. Baby Annabell has become a household name for dolls. Baby Annabell is lifelike in that she suckles on her pacifier or bottle of milk and gurgles and cries.

The doll is priced around $89.99 from Amazon and many clothes and accessories are available making sure that this doll never becomes boring to the child.

This toy is suitable for children aged 3 years and over due to small parts that could be a choking hazard and requires 3 AA batteries.

4 --- Stinky the Garbage Truck

This is a real working garbage truck by Matxhbox and is part of the Big Rig Buddies range of vehicles. The toy is interactive and talks, sings, tells jokes and even eats.

The vehicle is completely interactive and comes with a DVD with stories of Stinky and his friends and their adventures.

5 --- Fijit Friends Interactive Toy

Fijit Friends are small round character toys that come to life when interacted with and tell jokes and sing songs. They feature voice recognition. There are four different models:

7 --- Barbie Doggie Park Playset and Various Accessories

This is the latest must-have Barbie doll toy and includes a dog that walks and roller skates. The playset includes kibble and bones for the dog and items for Barbie and there are fun things to do such as a puppy carousel. There are other accessories such as kittens in the same range.

The console is said to boost childrens' creativity and skills in a fun way, and this can be monitored by parents.
