Top 7 Best Gifts for Travelers

Because I travel a lot during the last 12 years, also a lot with different plane companies, I'm sure to be in a good position to give some excellent advices about "the best gifts or presents for a traveler". From personal experiences, I can assure everyone, my choosen presents in this list aren't "wrong gifts". So this "list of gifts" can be a serious guide for the future period, the time coming up, as there are Christmas, New Year, and even already Valentine's day. Who isn't looking for the "top gift" in this "upcoming period of giving useful gifts"?. So, if your beloved one, who will be gifted with a present by you, is a "traveler"? Then be inspired by my lens, and just take a look on all suggested items. And if those items aren't for you just the "good" ones? You will get some other inspiration. Because, if you want to spend money on a "present", why not find the "good" ones. Or maybe another of my already published lenses can be your present guide list? Also this list is based on personal experiences.

Oh yes, normally everybody says: "A donated horse, you never look into the mouth" [free translation of a Flemish proverb]. But for sure: Isn't it anyway more fun, if you receive, or can donate a "good suitable gift"?

How I choosed the Top 7 Traveler Gifts

The biggest problem when entering a plane, is the carry-on baggage, or the hand baggage, you can take with you on the plane. The problem isn't so much the "weight", but "the size". Your cabine luggage always MUST fit within certain dimensions, or "you have to pay more".

A second problem is the airconditioning on planes, mostly "to cold". Most people are very "sensitive" to excessive cooling. Be prepared for that. It's a great comfort on long flights, to be able to have a good sleep, and to relax.

Another inspiration for a good "traveler gift", was the idea about "comfortable travelling". The longer you have to "sit still" in a longer flight, the more important is the "comfort". So that gave me the idea for some good traveler gifts, to improve "comfortable flying".

A last idea about a good traveler gift, is the "boredom" during very long flights. Yes, you can read magazines, books. Also you can watch the programs broadcasted during flights. But even despite this, sometimes a traveler can experience "empty moments". Some good gifts can "fill" those traveler's empty moments.

When you decide to take some sleep while flying to your vacation or work destination, be sure to have a "warm" sleep. It's good to have always your "travel blanket" with you on the plane, because you never know if they have blankets on the plane.

"Comfort" is important during long airplane flights. Not only having some sleep under a "warm blanket", but also a "relaxing sleep" is most important. The best pillows are the "neck pillows", fitting around your neck, or "inflatable", or in "soft foam".

During long flights, you can't always watch on board programs, or sleep. To kill the long hours, "reading" is the most frequent activity on board. And to save "place" and "weight", instead of dragging "books", a "e book reader or tablet" is the best solution as traveler gift.

A lightweight wrap is a great gift, especially if you can wear it as a scarf before boarding so it doesn't take up luggage space, it's so nice to be warm and comfortable on long haul flights
