Unique Ideas for Valentines Day Gift for a Man

Updated on July 9, 2013

What to Buy Him for Valentines Day?

We all expect to get something wonderful from the man in our lives... But, what about what to give him? Flowers and candy are not going to do when it comes to buying a Valentines gift for your man.

Here are some great ideas to buy for your favorite man for Valentines Day.

Tattoo......If your man loves tattoos you can go but him a gift certificate to his favorite tattoo shop so he can get some new ink or add to the ink he already has. My husband has a work in progress and this would be a perfect gift for him.....ideas are brewing.

A Special Day...... Most ideas of Valentines Day are of a romantic diner, etc. that revolved around what the woman finds special. I am all for that but what about him. Giving him a planned out day for him (for another day) would be great. If he likes fishing, golf, paintball you can make an itinerary for the day. Include his favorite restaurants, movies he wants to see. You could end the day with a special intimate time that caters to his wants ;).

Plan a Guys Day..... This one doesn't include you. If he wined and dined you and did and said all that right things why not surprise him with a guys day with his buddies. You can plan a day for him and his buddies to hit the links, go bowling or drive go-carts. Every guy likes a little down time with the guys.

Make it Fun..... if you do have to resort to the normal gift like a tie or a coffee mug do your best to make it fun. Buy a tie with his favorite cartoon character or a gag mug.

Guys like romance but remember as hard as they try they are still guys and deserve to get what they want too.

Let us all know what you plan on buying your guy for Valentines day. The more unique the better.

Guys need guy time just like we need girls time.

I do like the guys day out -- it would be a break for the gals as well! Seriously, it would be nice to plan this for my hubby because I know he would enjoy being with friends and having a good time to just talk.
