Valentines Love

Nature's Kiss of love...snow!
Nature's Kiss of love...snow!

A Valentines Kiss from Nature

As I strolled outside tonight there was a quiet hush amplified by the dance of snow falling around me, it is the eve of Valentine’s Day. It hasn’t snowed much here in Illinois this winter, and tonight’s appearance of glitter snow floating from the sky seems to have been pre-ordered from the heavens above to usher in the holiday at hand.

Quiet your mind and open your heart to a view of millions of tiny crystals dancing through the sky. Their bodies so thin and uniquely sculptured catching sources of light and reflecting, reaching outward to connect with a graceful touch of cold.

I have embraced this view many times in the course of my life, and each and every time it is an adventure of newness and beauty that opens my heart to the wonderful possibilities of what is unseen that lies before me.

I believe that love is life, and that life is love. That the two concepts are not interchangeable they coexist in our world as one. The two orchestrate together music for each of us to hear, a personal rhythm for our bodies to sway to as we travel a journey through time and dimensions here in this world as we know it and others when our time expires on earth. It is unique to each individual and dependent on the pureness of one’s vision of heart as to whether the music is ever heard and the dance flows.

As I waltz through my day tomorrow my Valentine’s wish to each of you will be the gift of pure vision of one’s heart. There is nothing more precious in this world that I could wish for each you. It is pure sight that allows love to bring life to your being in a form that showers many blessings from the sky into your life; much like the millions of tiny diamonds floating through the sky in the form of snow I observed tonight. Natures kiss of love, her rare gems gifted to all who took the time to see and embrace.

If you close your eyes and visualize the two scenarios in each case a beautiful masterpiece of life emerges.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all…may pure love be seen by your heart!

It is I who is thankful to know you and ImKarn23. I think our Chakra's are in sync with each other. We share a common view of life and feelings and it is good to know there other fish in the pond of life to swim with. You just have to watch out for those damn hooks.

I bow down to you...and humbly accept the accolades. Writing has been a growth journey for this girl who blossomed out of a small town dysfunctional family of five not knowing how to spell. I visualized in the quiet I created in my head instead! Thank you!!!!

Wow! Welcome Pris!!! I saw the diamonds, felt the stillness, could almost touch the darkness! Beautiful(which is how i will vote) I agree 100% - people don't 'see' the beauty without - or within. It's a sad, technology and ambition driven world we live in. We can't get our heads out of our i-Thingies long enough to see the beauty! (unless someone texts us a picture of it, of course!) Well done, gf!

Dennis, Happy Valentines Day my dear friend!!! I humbly thank you so much for your kind words. It is such a joy to share my love of life with so many....unbelievable that people actually enjoy reading ones most inner thoughts through keystrokes. What the 21st Century brings us, closer together to touch..so awesome! I am so clumsy at this I am still trying to figure out my URL address, and all the bells and whistles here....slow but steady I am. A kiss of love to you!!!

What a beautiful string of pearly words you presented us with on this Valentine's Day. I know in my heart, I am so pleased to know you, even if it is only through this venue. You are so right in connecting the dots between being one with nature, ourselves and the warmth of self love which is needed in order to love and appreciate others and our surroundings. I have a 96 year old neighbor who has a great outlook on life. Whenever you ask him how he is doing his quick comeback, said with a boyish smile is, "Any day above ground is a good day!" How very true are his words...now the day is ours to seize and the question is...do we embrace it and smile upon others, or do we cast it aside? My days are embraced because of people like you that I encounter. Oh, by the way, I voted this up, along with a host of other things.
