Your Cheap Guide to Weight Loss

It is January 1, 2012, another year has come and gone. For many, the new year is the time to set new goals or resolutions for the coming year. Some would say, I don't make resolutions while others would make resolutions to lose weight, get out of debt, or stop drinking.

I haven't really made any resolutions except to continue to lose the baby fat I gained from giving birth to a 10lb 9oz baby boy back in September. So far I lost over 50lbs in 3 months. A lot of people ask me how was I able to lose weight that quickly without the help of a personal trainer, personal chef, Weight Watchers, or fad diets. I kept my weight loss low cost and even free. Here is how.

Free Weight Loss Website is a FREE weight loss website. Everything you need for your weight loss journey can be found here. You can find free meal plans, free workout videos and advice, free online personal training, free DVDs, and free support. If at any time you have a weight loss question you can contact the website owner and he will respond personally. I have done this a couple of times; trust me the owner really does respond.

Leverage Your Interactive Gaming Systems

Do you own a Nintendo Wii or an Xbox Kinect? If so leverage your gaming systems as a weight loss tool. I have personally used the Zumba Fitness for the Xbox Kinect. I must say it is rather addictive. Every time I workout with it I have in mind to beat my last score; and I have fun dancing to all of the Latin rhythms. Zumba Fitness is also available on Nintendo Wii. Using Zumba Fitness for Xbox has been more economical than going to the gym. I don't have to pay membership fees or spend money on gas. I spent $50 on the game. It beats paying $50 a month for a gym membership.

Use YouTube

It seems like everybody is on YouTube these days. Many website owners will market their products or services on YouTube as a way to draw traffic to their sites. Many times they will have free snippets or full length videos pertaining to their sites. You will find many weight loss experts doing this. Here is what I have found and used on YouTube: kick boxing, Brazilian butt lift exercises, and interval training.

I am not the best dieter or have a lot of will power. I can't stand being hungry. We all know that eating right and exercising is the key to weight loss. I tried everything from eating small meals every 3 hours to portion control to low carbohydrate dieting. None of them worked. I found myself more hungry and eating more as a result. What works for me is eating superfoods. Dr. Joel Furhman's website is an excellent online source for recipes, personal weight loss support, and food education. There is a fee to sign up and become a member, but the membership is well worth it.

You don't have to spend a lot of money to reach your weight loss goals in 2012.
