Amazing Glass Pumpkin Patch

Updated on January 15, 2013

A Pumpkin Patch Experience Like No Other

Fall is upon us which makes it the perfect time to go visit pumpkin patches. We are all familiar with pumpkin patches, but have you ever seen or heard of a GLASS pumpkin patch? A pumpkin patch consists of hundreds maybe even thousands of orange pumpkins. Upon your visit at a pumpkin patch you may purchase a pumpkin, take pictures, or simply take a stroll and enjoy the vast scenery of orange beauty. Tired of seeing orange? Well a glass pumpkin patch consists of thousands of beautifully hand-blown glass pumpkins in a variety of colors, shapes, sizes, and price ranges.

I never knew about glass pumpkin patches until I came across a YouTube video talking about glass pumpkins. I personally love glass ornaments, glass flower vases, glass animal figurines, etc so discovering about glass pumpkins was very exciting to a glass lover like me. :D

Orange pumpkins are great, but glass pumpkins are blue, red, green, pink, any color you can imagine! Come pick the perfect glass pumpkin for yourself or give it away as a gift. A little warning, it is more difficult to choose a glass pumpkin than your usual orange pumpkin. Another little warning: It is ten times more fun! Happy glass pumpkin picking!!! :)

Glass Pumpkin Patch - More Information About Glass Pumpkin Patches

Orange Pumpkin Patch

Come on, we've seen orange pumpkins before. So dull and boring and soooo orange!

An Unforgettable Stroll

At a glass pumpkin patch, the glass pumpkins are set on the grass. The glass pumpkins are not categorized in any way. Grassy pathways are included which allows you to walk and browse through the many glass pumpkins. A glass pumpkin stroll is like none other. It is beautiful, breath-taking, and magical.

Glass Pumpkin Picking For Children

Children can experience glass pumpkin patches too! Glass pumpkins are clean and beautiful. They are not caked with mud as a regular orange pumpkin does. Glass pumpkins are also fun to look at. Children will love and remember a glass pumpkin experience. If you decide to bring a child along make sure to inform the child that the pumpkins are made of glass.

When purchasing a glass pumpkin for a child, make sure that the glass pumpkin is not too heavy. Also make sure that the glass pumpkin size isn't too big. A smaller glass pumpkin will be perfect for a child. Glass pumpkin patches have lots of different sized pumpkins so you won't have a problem picking the right size for your child.

Where To Begin Picking? - ANYWHERE!!!

Happy glass pumpkin picking! :)

Glass Pumpkin Decoration

Pumpkins are usually used for cooking, decoration, and carving. Pumpkins are great, but they don't last all season long. Glass pumpkins on the other hand, last forever. Use a glass pumpkin for decorating fireplace mantles, kitchen counters, or use it as a table center piece, bathroom counters, place it on top of a book shelf, anywhere! Display your glass pumpkin in a safe place; put it high away from children. Also be careful where you place your glass pumpkin; check to see if you have wobbly furniture. A small glass pumpkin can be used as a paperweight in your home office. Of course, as yummy as a glass pumpkin looks, control your temptations and do not eat it.
