I feel every year is the same: lose weight/get into shape/eat healthily. Plus a few other mundane resolutions. For 2012, I decided to shake things up a little, so I'm going to start learning Norwegian!
I have a plan for accomplishing the 1000-mile hiking year. Though I've walked more that twice that distance in previous years, this is more of a commitment to fitness than to a destination. Though it sounds huge - it is only about 20 miles per week.
