Do Atheists celebrate Christmas and Easter?

If they celebrate what are the reasons if they are not believers of God? I am not judging anyone I am just curious.

That is quite thoughtful. At least you are open-minded with your children. :)

Mick S: They are an interesting combination and truly the World has lost the real meaning of Christmas or any other holiday. Even though I am Christian the meaning for those of us who do believe has really been lost.

That makes sense. It would also be nice if people did not come into the Q&A and vote a person's answer down. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Thanks for answering the question. :)

The question is, " Do Atheists celebrate and why? I am not including Santa or Peter Cottontail, I am talking about the celebration directly. :)

You responded in a positive manner. I have often wondered how people who did not believe, celebrated. Glad to know that you take family to heart and also enjoy the season embracing people you love. :)
