What would Christmas be without the Christmas Trees, Gifts and Decorations?

Is it far-fetched to have a Christmas void of all that's mentioned above. Will it still be a 'Merry Christmas" if all you get is 'just time with families and loved one'?

    Yes, It is.

Christmas for a christian is a day to celebrate the 'Hope' that came down from heaven to earth out of love for all mankind. That, needs to be celebrated everyday, with or without decorations.
