Does anyone you know plan to spend the day shopping rather than celebrating Thanksgiving this year?

Many people I know in my city are doing just that, since all the stores and restaurants are open. Some are tired of cooking, but how about you and your friends?

A lot of people feel eactly the same, europewalker. This change in some families to have only a shopping day is strange to most of us. At the same time, people without families or a place to go might feel better about shopping and eating out.

I was surprised to hear the change in plans. I no longer enjoy shopping of any kind. I suppose restaurants will increase in business.
