My boyfriend and I found these cheap masks at Wal-Mart. I am going to make a costume to look like Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas. We want to pass out something more untraditional than candy. Our first thought was to pass out cans of pop but then we thought eehhh most of the trick or treaters are little kids. Parents would not appreciate their kids on top of getting candy getting caffeine! Being an artsy person by nature I wanted to decorate rocks and pass those out (in spirit of the famous Halloween Charlie Brown.) But my boyfriend was like do you really want to be that house that the kids remember as the rock house?? He told me he does not want to get egged! So we decided to pass out Little Debbys. It is not the traditional candy and it is not something sketchy that the parents would be concerned if they ate it. I personally can not wait I love halloween!

Love the Little Debbies idea! They always have fun holiday themed ones, too!

Love the cute pumpkin and beautiful black kitty.   I simply LOVE Halloween; however, I intend to be securely ensconced in my home, munching sweet/salt gourmet popcorn and watching a marathon of horror programs and movies on my portable dvd player.  I have just ordered Penny Dreadful, Season 2!

Penny Dreadful II is even more MACABRE than Penny Dreadful I.  Simply love the series.

My sons (8 and 12) both went the movie-psycho route this year. One is going to be Jason from the "Friday the 13th" saga and the other is Ghost Face from the "Scream" films.
As for me, I'm wearing the same costume I do every year - Tired Looking Guy in An Iron Maiden Shirt and Sweats Walking His Kids Around the Neighborhood.
