BaByliss PRO Perfect Curl

Updated on June 19, 2013

Babyliss Pro Perfect Curling Hair Styler

This is a brand new design concept for hair styling that produces attractive sexy soft spirally curls. Just released in the UK it is a hot topic of conversation amongst the fashionistas!

The BaByliss Perfect Curl is unlike any other curling product on the market today - it's not tongs, a wand, rollers or a crimper.

The first time you see it in action will be a revelation and I have included a video below that demonstrates the concept in action.

So, How does the Perfect Curl Work?

The first thing you notice is the unusual shape of this hair styler. It is totally unlike anything I have ever seen before. Although the handles are sleek and black like other styling gadgets - that is where the resemblance ends. Perfect Curl has a large round head that opens to show large plastic teeth inside.

This head includes a uniquely designed "catcher" which winds the hair into the internal chamber . Here it is suspended and heated from all sides. So your hair is not directly in contact with a heated plate or barrel and thus the Perfect Curl is much more gentle and kinder to the hair.

After a few seconds you will hear an audio beep That lets you know exactly when to release your hair. Just let the hair fall free and cool to create soft curls that last for ages.

How Suitable is it for My Hair?

There are three heat settings available - 190C, 210C, 230C - and these can be combined with three time settings - 8sec, 10sec, 12sec - to give maximum flexibility for the tightness or looseness of curl on different hair types. A little experimentation will soon allow you to get the type of curl that you want to achieve - from a gentle wave to a tight ringlet!

You can only do a small section of hair at a time so it's important to section you hair and work through methodically.

Alternatively, you might want to add just a few curls around the face or as an accent to an up-do.

Hair Curling Options in the USA - (until the Perfect Curl debuts later in the year)

BaByliss®PRO Nano Titanium ConiCurl (Tapered) 1" to 1/2" Curling Iron
BaByliss®PRO Nano Titanium ConiCurl (Tapered) 1" to 1/2" Curling Iron

This curling iron is tapered from 1" to 1/2" so that you can use the far end to get a tight curl, or the top for a bigger looser curl. You can also space it out down the barrel for a less even natural look. If you leave the curls tight, they will actually hold. Or for a softer "beach wave" look, you can just run your fingers through loosely.
