Back to the Future Gifts
BTTF Gifts Guaranteed to Create 1.21 Gigawatt Smiles!
What to give to the guy or girl who's obsessed with Back to the Future? Gifts inspired by the movie of course! Back to the Future has enjoyed a cult fan base since it first graced the silver screen so I'm sure you have a friend or two who, like me, is still hung up on the show. Mini DeLorean's, wooden figurines of Marty and Doc, hover boards, creative wall arts, and prop replicas - the possibilities of being awarded "best present of the year" for the holidays are endless!
Hoverboard Prop Replica
Back to the Future 2. The epic chase scene at the clock tower. Marty is using a pink Mattel hoverboard he "borrowed" from a kid. I don't know about you guys but from the first time I saw that hoverboard, I knew I wanted one! I've daydreamed about the day we'd be ditching those boring land-locked skateboards for these gliding hoverboards but alas, the future has been quite the letdown. At the moment, this official 1:1 scaled prop replica of the hoverboard is the closest we can get to this dream. Every BTTF aficionado will LOVE you and worship you once you give them this.
This is the real deal. It was developed by the film's special effects supervisor, prop maker and co-producer / co-writer. Plus, it's fully sanctioned by Universal Studios! It has that distinct whooshing sound, and it will glide over most flat surfaces, provided you don't ride on them. And remember what Biff's lackeys said, "You bojo, those boards don't work on water... Unless you've got POWER!"
Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads
DeLorean Models from BTTF 1 through 3
Give a DeLorean model to your favorite Back to the Future fans and their hearts will race up to 88MPH! The photo above is part of my own BTTF collection and I'm darn proud of it! There are different diecast scale models for the time machine vehicle depending on the movie. Part 1 has a hook attached to get power from the clock tower; Part 2 has a nifty fuel compartment that accepts garbage; Part 3 has a circuit board mounted on its hood.
The hook managed to bring Marty's car to 88MPH to bring him back to the future
The car was modified to accept garbage as fuel. Banana peels recommended!
A circuit board was attached to the DeLorean's hood during the Western years
If you had to choose just one...
Which of these DeLorean's would you want to have if you could only choose one?
The 25th Anniversary Trilogy DVD
This is a no-brainer. Back to the Future celebrated its 25th anniversary just last 2011, and came out with a Blu-Ray trilogy to commemorate it. Everyone who loves this movie would LOVE to have this one.
Aside from the enhanced picture and sound quality, the set comes with bonus features. What bonus features are included? Deleted scenes (because we can always have more of the movie!), a look at the key scenes that bind the whole trilogy together, original art storyboards, trivia, and behind-the-scenes footage
Make your Car look like a DeLorean (sorta)
Adorn your Car with BTTF Stuff!
Your car may not be a DeLorean (the shame!) but you can pimp it up like it was part of the movie with an "OUTATIME" license plate or a decal sticker of the flux capacitor.
A Real Life DeLorean Boat/Car!
The whole thing just got real at a recent game in AT&T Park. Watch and drool and attempt to feed your computer screen money just so you can get a hold of that awesome vehicle!
Marty McFly's Look or BTTF Shirts - Subtle Fashion Pieces
Everyone wants to be Marty McFly! Here are some pieces he worn in the movie. If you don't wear them all at once, they are subtle reminders of the movie that only fellow aficionados will recognize - a good thing if you don't want to attract too much attention.
Thinking of dressing up as Marty McFly at an upcoming costume shindig? Check out my guide here!
I have these and they are worth every cent. They look just like Marty's but those who can't relate to the movie will also love them.
BTTF on your iPhone
Here is another great gift idea - how about an iPhone case inspired by the movie? The movie never predicted this futuristic touch screen gadget but it definitely fits right in BTTF2!
How big a fan are you?
How many times have you watched the movie trilogy?
Cute Mini Wooden Figurines!
Awesome BTTF Wall Art - By Glen Brogan (Albino Raven)
Have you heard of Glen Brogan? He's a GENIUS. He's got golden hands skilled at drawing some awesome art. He made a limited BTTF artwork featuring Marty's room. It's unfortunately not being sold on the market but we can all just marvel at his artwork here in this photo. Can you spot all the BTTF tidbits in the picture?
