How to Choose the Right Book Holder or reading Stand

Updated on September 10, 2014

Great gifts for avid readers.

Book holders can be great in so many situations, reading in bed, holding a recipe to keep dirty fingers off the pages, reading on your treadmill to help the miles fly by, reading when recuperating from a broken or sore arm and even for the elderly. I purchased the bookseat left for my mother to use when reading in bed. She loves it and reads much more often now as her hands do not tire holding up the pages.

I have the Clear Solutions kitchen stand and I love it. No more wet or greasy marks in my recipes. Next on my shopping list is an ipad stand similar to the book seat that I got mum.

There are so many options, wooden stands, bean bag and foam stands, metal and iron stands, stands that collapse to fold flat and many more. Check out my list of stands and holders for all purposes and I am sure you will find one to suit your reading needs.

It comes in Kiwi navy, blue, burgundy, sage green, light blue, Asian green, cheetah, jungle and red orange.
