Best Foodie Gifts - Top Five Gifts for Foodies!

Are you a foodie, or is there a special food-loving kitchen dweller in your life?  Sometimes, you just have to splurge on the good stuff, and holidays are a perfect time to buy a special foodie gift.  What could be more romantic than cooking on Valentine's day with your sweetie? Here is a curated list of the top five gifts for foodies this year!

#1 Lodge Logic Grill Pan

Everyone who loves to cook needs a good quality grill pan. Not only do grill pans duplicate the outdoor BBQ for indoor cooking (especially in cold winters, when you're dying for some grilled food to remember summertime), but they also can be used in the BBQ itself for a cleaner and easier to clean up cooking experience. Not to mention the possibilities as a griddle - mmmm pancakes! The Lodge Logic grill pan is just the right size for all of your grilling needs, and comes from a highly reputable company. If you buy this grill pan, you'll have it for years to come - and you might find yourself passing it off to your kids one day!

Lodge 11-1/4-Inch Pre-Seasoned Grill Pan
Lodge 11-1/4-Inch Pre-Seasoned Grill Pan

Ridges on the bottom of this heavy cast-iron skillet make it perfect for grilling sausages, hamburgers, and steaks. Cast iron creates superior heat retention, heats evenly, and loves a campfire, unlike flimsier pans. This 11-1/4-inch pan features a cast-iron handle with a notch to allow for hanging, and two subtle side lips for pouring off grease or liquids. While the pan comes preseasoned to keep food from sticking, it works best when sprayed or lightly coated with vegetable oil before use. Whether used in a kitchen or camp, this virtually indestructible pan should last for generations.

#2 Jean Dubost Laguiole Steak Knives

Steak knives of good quality can make every cook's life easier - not only can good knives provide ease of chopping, cutting and crunching, but they are also safer and prevent kitchen injuries. Spend the money, you won't regret it!

A French country tradition, they are distinguished by the gentle curve of the razor-sharp stainless steel blade and contoured elongated grip. The stainless steel handle is hallmarked with the signature Laguiole bee. Presented in a natural beech wood storage box. Dishwasher safe. Set of six 6 each 9"L.

Oh I don't have my wish list all made out, but I do like the quality of Lodge Logic cast iron pans and that Aero Garden herb seed kit would be fantastic for fresh herbs. Thanks for the selection.

Hmmm ... I've already got the kitchenaid stand mixer and the other 4 items don't fit into my foodie life. A commercial reefer for my food wagon would be nice. Thumbs up!

I have the KitchenAid mixer and it's the best kitchen gift I've ever gotten. I didn't realize it was available in all of those colors. I wish mine was red, but it's white. I LOVE it. And I'm also interested in the cast iron grill pan. I have a VERY old one without the grill lines, but I'd love one with to make pretty marks on shrimp etc. Great ideas here.
