Halloween Capes

Updated on August 30, 2017

Best Halloween Capes

There are a variety of costumes that require a cape. Don't settle for that cheesy and flimsy dime store variety that won't hold up through the night. I'll try to cover a variety of Halloween cape styles for you to choose from. They don't even have to be black capes. You don't even have to purchase the cape. If you are crafty, making your own Halloween cape may be just what the doctor ordered. I've got you covered on that, too.

** The demon head cape can be puchased near the bottom of the page if he's the one who catches your fancy (by the looks of him, he may want to catch more than that).

Halloween Capes are Not Just for Halloween!

There are a variety of times a cape can be useful.

Halloween and costume parties are obvious occasions in which you may require a cape but there are other times as well.

Maybe a group of friends and you want to make a real entrance to the new Twilight movie. How awesome would it be to show up as vampires?!

Gothic queens will love using them to make their prom and homecoming outfits stand out from the crowd. With the variety of colors and styles, you don't even need to be goth to love the effect of a great cape.

Summer is a time of parades. Renaissance parades are particularly good times for classy, unique capes. We have you covered, too - literally!

Drama clubs need capes for a variety of plays from period clothing such as Shakespeare to pirates or other villains.

There are many ideas for using Halloween capes for other than Halloween. What are you here searching capes for? Please use the comment section at the bottom of this page and let us know so we can be sure and cater to your specific needs.

I want to do some type of sexy vampire. I think that a nice black cape will set the outfit off nicely.

Sojourn 6 years ago you've got me thinking! Our 110 pound Goldendoodle would look hysterical in a cape for Halloween! That would be great! In fact, we've never done a sort of matching costume for him and one of the kids but this might be a great year for that. Matching vampires? Not sure yet but you've given me some great ideas!
