Best Valentines Gifts for Guys 2013

Updated on April 10, 2014

What to buy a man for Valentine's Day

Men really get it tough on Valentine's Day. There is so much pressure on them to create the perfect romantic moment for their partners. It never seems that women really have to try as hard to find a way to surprise men. They tend to care a bit less about all the fuss and are happy with pretty much any gift you throw their way. This year why not buy them something a bit special to celebrate valentines.

By consulting a number of my male colleagues and team mates I have created a list below of things men think would make great Valentines gifts. I hope this helps give you some interesting and unusual Valentines Day gift ideas.

Choosing a Valentine a gift for men

Put in a little thought to show you care

What type is your man? What does you man love to do in his spare time?

If he's a bit of a geek try to think which latest gadget he has been talking about... or buy him an accessory for the latest gadget he bought for himself ;)

Is he a do it yourself type? Perhaps a home brew kits would appeal.

Is he a romantic? Then why not get him a beautiful classic watch that can become a family heirloom.

A bit of a coffee snob? Why not get him a Nespresso machine - you can wake up every morning thinking of George Clooney while your real man brews you both a coffee!

I have 10 suggestions below to help inspire you but please let me know if you can think of something great I have missed.

You get the idea... don't wimp out on aftershave or chocolates this year... get him something that shows you thought about him interests. Oh and still cook the romantic dinner - they all like food!

It's roses for me, and chocolates for him! In past years, I have given him a watch, several in 25 years. Love Valentine's Day, Love my Valentine!

I don't know if we will exchange gifts this year. We usually don't but every once in a while, we decide to celebrate.
