Unveiling Your Halloween Character

Want to change your identity for an evening, but don't want to look scary or to go to too much trouble? Let me help you by pointing the way to a variety of halloween masks that are sure to seal your new identity, even if you don't manage to produce the full works for the rest of your outfit. After all, the face is the first thing that most people will notice and look at. So take a look at this selection of fun masks that will surprise and humour your friends. They are family friendly masks that won't give your children nightmares, so you should be able to kit the whole family out from this selection before you take off to the party in your new Halloween characters. We all love to be someone else for a few hours. Often it's that character type whom we know we never could be in real life, but short of taking up acting and landing a role in a film, this is one way to experience life from a different stand point. Now I'm not suggesting that you run away in denial from who you really are, but just for a few hours, step outside of yourself, be that fly on the wall, or better still, your newly chosen halloween character- and have fun!

Scary Masks Or Not?

We all like to surprise and even shock to add a bit of spice to life, but what might be scary to one person, may not be so for another. Often something that scares us has bad connotations from our past that we react to afterwards. With masks, it can simply be that we are scared because of the unknown element in not being able to see who is behind the mask. When we know, we feel more in control.

I think Mickey Mouse is the scariest mask around -- and the Dalek! I vote for Scooby Doo.

Scary is fine in its place, but I really enjoyed these non-scary masks. I think they're much more fun! (Though I'll admit, the Burger King always scares me when I see him on TV!)
