Beware of Zombies Month

Updated on August 24, 2017

It's Good to Have Brains

Keep your head, hold onto your brains because once again, it's Zombie Appreciation Month or Zombie Awareness Month. This celebration comes along every May and this year so many people are getting into to this slightly macabre holiday of death and life rolled into one.

I only heard about this last year from a good friend on Facebook, but this year actually marks the 5th year for Zombie Appreciation Month. The month of May normally means life and renewal, so why was it chosen for Zombie Awareness Month? It is partly because many Zombie movies like Night of the Living Dead are set in May.

If you were wondering, yes this is my own art. This is a woman has pretty, pretty princess costume on halloween. These people were dressed as Robon Hood, a man in a woman's swim suit and a woman dressed as Jane Asuen when they went through the change and are now creeping up on their next Zombie friend who is unaware anthing is wrong.

10 Zombies coming for you

I bought this book for a couple of friends of mine. Maggie loved it. It is a funny and slightly sick counting book. This short bloody hardcover book actually has around 20 five star reviews. This book is fully illustrated. I bought it when my favorite bookstore was going under for around a dollar, I was extremely happy to find a kindle version for myself for only .99 a few years later.

Sick Plushy Toys

This odd plush toy that requires 2 AA batteries that are never included actually makes slurping and chomping noises if you press it to your body or at least hug it's extremely large head. After you let this toy out of your grip it burps to let you know it loved feasting on your brains and or flesh.

This toy seems very popular and when I looked at it, I thought it would be more for adults, but as I read the many five star reviews I realized how many children love this cute and creepy little toy.

How Do You Celebrate Something That Doesn't Exist?

There are bunches of ways to get into the spirit of this sick holiday season, because Zombies are everywhere. Relax I mean figuratively. You can find Zombies in books, movies, TV shows, video clips online and even popular music. With so many things to pick from you can throw a movie party, costume party, or even host your very own Zombie walk.

A Zombie walk is when a large group of people gather together and dress like Zombies and they take place all over America. They even host one every year in a small town in Ohio not too far from me every Halloween.

I celebrated by writing a zombie joke book and I also did the art.

You can also run fire drills and look into updating your alarms.

Castle of the Dead

ABC hit series is getting into the Zombie craze with their new episode Undead Again.

The other videos are music videos, one is a parody and the last is my favorite. There are Zombies are your lawn, which is the theme to the awesomely cool video game named Plants vs Zombies.

Don't Adjust Your Television Just Because Zombies Are On It!

You might be wondering why Community: The Complete Second Season (2010) would even be on my list, well that is because they had the most amazing Zombie Halloween special. What I love about this is that it was real, it wasn't like one of those Halloween shows like on the Simpsons were next week it didn't really happen. They turned every character except for the creepy dean into a Zombie. I like how creepy and cool this show was and I love how simple it was for them to come back from the almost undead.

Survival Guide

This book is actually extremely popular and has almost 700 hundred reviews and has an average four and half stars. I know this book will be funny, the only thing that makes me wonder is how much does Mel Brook's son really know about Zombies.

My book is published

My Book

My book is "The Funny Little Zombie Book: The Complete Book of Terribly Cheesy and Sometimes Offensive Zombie Jokes" the book I wrote to workout my fear of Zombies and the bad dreams they would give me is now for sale. I also did all the illustrations. Almost 600 undead zombie jokes, some cute, some clever, some funny and others stupid. I find that most of the jokes are not offensive, but I have a sensitive sister and I wanted to worn people like her. A good friend of mine, said there was not one offensive joke in the book. The book is a digital download on for 2.99

I'm working on my next few books including a free book on how to write books for the completely unqualified.

We have a huge zombie walk in our city and my son participates every year. They have a lot of fun and the make-up is always fun to see.

I read paranormal novels. Occasionally there is a zombie or two who cause havoc in these stories. The idea is really creepy.
