Presidential Inauguration

A Ceremony that mark the beginning of a new term of a President of the United States. During this inauguration, the President make an oath of office before undertaking the duties of the office of the presidency. The first inauguration began on April 30, 1798 with the 1st President, George Washington and still continue with the 44th President, Barack Obama elected on January 20, 2009.

Inaugural Parade

It’s an American tradition that honor the guests of honor, the newly sworn President and Vice President. That event include a procession of ceremonial military regiments, citizens’ groups and marching bands. During this ceremony, the President used to parade down to Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.
