Black Leather Gloves for Her

Updated on February 24, 2014

Finding the Right Pair

I am always in need of a way to keep my hands warm. Through the years I have tried many different types of gloves and found my favorite to be a combination of material. Leather sounds good and is. If you do not get these lined you will end up with cold hands. They are great for driving but will not do in the winter where I live. Knit is comfortable. This material does keep your hands warm if the knit is tight. The ultimate is a combination of both. The leather makes it easier to manipulate things while the knit keeps hands cozy. There are many brands that are out on the Internet to choose from but breaking it down to the material you want is half the battle in a search for a pair.

The History

Here are some links to good sites about the history and use of this accessory through the years.

Women's Italian Opera Length Gloves Lined in Silk. Spring. By Solo Classe

For a very fashionable dress glove these are great. If you are looking for something to stay super warm you might want to pass on this one. Silk lining sounds great but it is not the best for the cold weather. I would wear these to go to an afternoon lunch. They are very pretty. The photo makes them look more brown than black. I think this is due to the flash of the camera.

Warm hands are a must. Hence everyone should have at least one good pair of gloves for every winter day. If you want leather or not you should keep a pair at the ready. Stay comfortable and warm while reducing wear from the elements from your hands. These are both fashionable and made for easy control of things with your fingers.

I have never worn animal fur except when I was young my parents got me a rabbit fur coat. If I remember correctly it was very soft. I liked it because of the patch work colors but now that I think of the bunnies :( . I hear that Chinchilla is very soft and I have no reason to doubt this.
