Bose Solo TV Sound System
All I want for Christmas is this Bose!
It is early December and I am listening to Radio Paradise on my TV. Yes, my television.
It is hooked up wirelessly to the internet and has an app that allows me to listen to internet radio. Oh, modern technology is just amazing and I am glad to be alive. However, I am wishing that I had enough in my savings account to get a Bose Solo sound system so I could really enjoy the music.
If you look closely at the photo from Amazon that is shown to the left, you can see the Bose Solo box under the TV. Yes, that is all there is to this sound system created by Bose. "Solo" is the perfect name because you only need the one piece of electronics to have a wonderful sound system. It is also a good option for those with limited space.
Perfect Sound System to add to my home electronics!
The Bose Solo costs around $400 (which is less than my Bose Wave Radio!) It would be the perfect gift for the geek who loves music, watching TV and being able to have a good sound system that only needs one cable to hook it up to the TV. No more having family or friends walk around the room, holding up speakers in various spots trying to find the perfect position for the speakers that come with a home theatre sound system. Just one piece of equipment and you have the perfect wave of sound that makes your television a good and versatile piece of electronics.
That is my Bose Wave Radio you see pictured here.
The Bose Solo is designed to go under the pedestal of TVs that are up to 37 inches and some lighter 42-inch TVs.
Can be placed on a shelf above larger TVs if they are on a book case.
Can go on a table under wall mounted TVs.

Yes, I do get a small commission if you purchase the newest electronic sound system from Bose from Amazon. I do want to tell you, however, part of that commission goes to the BuckHawk Rescue Center, too. However, most of it will go to helping me purchase this Bose TV Sound System.
When I was shopping for my Bose Wave Radio, I was lucky enough to experience the Bose Solo in the store. It was amazing. My husband and I were in awe. Yes, AWE. Of course, one must remember that most TVs have inferior speakers.
We do have a home theatre system that is packed up in several boxes. When we moved ten years ago, we dismantled our surround sound system that consisted of an amplifier, a receiver, two large speakers that sit on the floor, a large speaker that was on top of our TV to provide sound from the front and two cylindrical speakers that mounted to the wall.
We never got around to hooking it up. Why? It was just too complicated and we really did not like having all the wires exposed. Until we could afford to have the wires run by a pro inside the walls and under the floor, we just did not want to bother.
When I do get this Bose Solo TV system, we will only need one wire to hook up to the TV. Oh, I am so glad we waited. I might have to wait a little longer, though. My TV is too big.
The only problem I have with the Bose Solo: it is designed to go under the pedestal of TVs that are up to 37 inches and some lighter 42-inch TVs. Since our TV is on a bookshelf, maybe it could go on a shelf above the TV. Yes, that might work. One wire. One wire. One wire.
It comes with the unit. No need to purchase anything else.
I am glad you happened upon my gift guide for the TV geek or couch potato in you home. I hope you learned a bit about TV sound systems and sound bars. Maybe you even found the perfect gift.
If you are a fan of the Bose products feel free to say so in your comment. Thanks again for stopping by.
