What is your favorite type of chocolate?
Cadbury Chocolate from England
The beginnings of the Cadbury business started when John Cadbury began manufacturing on a commercial scale in 1831. From that point, the Cadbury business has been handed down from generation to generation.
In 1875 Cadbury made the first easter eggs of Dark Chocolate which contained a sugar coated chocolate drop in the center. The famous Cadbury Creme Egg with the sugar egg center famous today would not be launched until 1971.
In 1897 Cadbury made it's first Milk Chocolate. Today Cadbury makes Bournville Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Cakes & Biscuits, Ice Cream, Hot Chocolate and Bournville Cocoa.
On February 2, 2010, Cadbury was bought by Kraft Foods.
Cadbury Creme Eggs
Cadbury Creme Eggs are possibly my favorite chocolate. Over the last few years, when the Cadbury Creme Egg comes out around Easter, they make the season for me. My kids know, that when the creme eggs come out and we are at a store with them, I will probably pick an egg up for myself and them for the ride home from the store. The chocolate creme egg is probably my second favorite. I'm not to found of the Cadbury caramel egg even though I love caramel.
In 2012, Cadbury expanded there creme eggs to Halloween with the Screme Egg which has a green goo in the middle of it instead of that Easter egg creme filling.
