Christmas at Ground Zero
2012 Is Almost Here
The year is 2012 and some ancient people have said that we should kiss our bums goodbye. The Mayan calendar ended 2012 December 21st, they said the Earth would be destroyed five times and we coming fast to this last dispensation.
There is no need to threat over what could happen, why not turn your frown upside down and throw a December 21st at 11am Christmas at Ground Zero party in your bomb shelter or if like most of us you don't have one, you can have it in your basement or a nearby cave. Wherever you feel the most safe, be sure only so invite your good friends, if the legends are true you don't want to be stuck ever with one of your frenemies.
I took this picture is in Roscoe Village at Christmastime. Every year they have what they call a Victorain Christmas.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
This movie isn't out yet, but I'm sure it will be by this Christmas. This movie is about a man in a world gone mad (because everyone may die) and he just wants a friend to help him find his first lost love.
This perfect for a end of the world party, however since it is rated R, it is not for a party with children.
Maybe the kids should be in the other room watch the Nightmare before Christmas.
End of Christmas as we know it Music
Here is some not so friendly Cristmas, but still fun Christmas songs to mix in with your real Christmas Music.
I loved this song as a child, maybe that says something about me.
The End is Not Always the End
This is about a normal bloke (played by Martin Freeman) who survives Aliens destroying Earth because his best friend ford is really an alien to teaches him how to secretly hitch a ride with the aliens that destroyed his home.
Don't Panic and remember always to bring your towel.
There is a longer mini-series version of this story. It ends sort of on a sad note, which odd and ironic in it's humor. Mostly because it was written by British man.
This version was produced in 1983. You can also buy this as a radio play, which is basically my favorite type of book on tape. Normal book on tapes has one voice over actor or actress, playing all the parts male and female. Sometimes they can be good, but radio plays are much better. They hire one narrator and a few actors and actresses to play the parts. So the men and women are only playing men and women. It transforms your mind as you read and listen putting inside the story.
Party food in a box
Kitchens of India, that really do come from india come in many flavors and come in packs of six, so you can feed your entire family or your whole party. If you love spicy Indian food this is for you, the prices range from 10 dollars to 19 dollars, which for how much you are getting is great price.
Dessert for the End of the World
Mint Chocolate Chip Astronaut Ice Cream? Of course freeze dried ice cream is awesome and it last forever, even if the world is still there the next day, you can have this treat and it comes in many favors. Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate-Chocolate and Neapolitan, just to name the most popular ones.
A short note on the importance of food storage. Food storage is important. It's not just for when a disaster hits, but what if you lose your job? I remember living through a hurricane as a child. The storm only lasted, but 20 minutes, but the devastation lasted a week. Trees knocked over power lines and no one had power, no stores were open. We had enough to live on, but my grandmother was missing some of her favorites such as coffee.
I took this photo while on vacation with my family. This area is a flood zone and has been completely under water more than once. The last horrible flood was in 2004 about ten years ago.
I made this Zombie from a painting of the Countess of Blessington by Sir Thomas Lawrence 1820, I used a program called Zombie Photo Booth 2, and about three other editing programs to make that s picture as creepy as I could. Turned out a bit too creepy.
