Christmas Gifts for your Dog

Updated on February 1, 2015

Welcome to my Holiday Dog Gift Guide!

Man's Best Friend. Dogs have earned that title, and lived up to it, for centuries. More than any other animal, dogs have been part of human culture. We use dogs for work. Herding, searching, detecting, assisting are all functions that many dogs do for people everyday. Dogs provide companionship. They protect our children, our homes and our livestock. They entertain us. The range of things that dogs do for us is amazing. Why not consider your dog this Christmas? Get a new toy for the dog. Maybe even take a video of the dog playing with the new toy. It might go viral on YouTube. Many cute dog videos have done so already. Many people are attracted to dogs, dog stories and dog videos. Your dog playing with a new ball may remind people of a similar dog they owned.

Check out the rest of this hub to see some good ideas for Christmas dog gifts. There is even a section with dog-related gifts for people. Please remember that the holiday period is often hard on people, their finances and their pets. There is a donation module on this lens that will allow you to direct a small amount of funds to a charity that helps dogs.

Get ready to check out the rest of the lens and get your dog loving activities in gear this Christmas holiday season!

Most dogs love to play with this toy. Endorsed by the American Kennel Club.

"Squirrel! (And it was funny, because the squirrel got dead)" - Doug the dog from the Disney Pixar movie "Up". All dogs want a squirrel for christmas. The more... stuffed the better -:)
