Christmas Table Decorations: Printable Place Cards

Updated on June 21, 2013

I had to make these free vintage Christmas table place cards, because I'm sure there are many people who are just as obsessed with Christmas table decorations as I am. And I always say, if you can use vintage art in the process of making decorations, so much the better. That's why the art in these Christmas table place cards comes from one of the genuine vintage Christmas images from my collection. It makes the resulting decorations perfect for virtually any table because they have lovely flowers in a traditional red sleigh, accompanied by "Happy Holidays" in a cheerful script font. In my opinion, the design is festive without being corny.

These table place card decorations are very easy to make. Just in case you can't figure out how to make them from looking at the downloaded art, though, there are instructions below.

I'd love to know whether this is your first encounter with homemade Christmas table decorations. So if you have moment, would you please scroll down to the bottom of the page and answer my poll? Thanks and have a wonderful holiday season -- and a beautiful Christmas dinner table!

It's easy to use these vintage Christmas place cards to dress up your holiday table. Just download the Word document or the PDF and save it to your hard drive. Then print the page on cardstock that's thick enough to stand up when folded, but not so thick that it will get stuck in your printer. There's art for six place cards on each sheet, so print as many copies as needed so all your guests have a card.

Once printed, cut on the pale orange dotted lines with a craft knife or a paper cutter. Then simply fold each card in half on the pale gray dotted lines and write your guests' names on the front of them for instant holiday elegance!
