Hallmark's Christmas Countdown Ornaments

If the refrain of the all-too-familiar "how many days until Christmas" rings throughout your home in December, you should invest in one of these cute little Hallmark Countdown to Christmas ornaments.

Designed by Ken Crow, a Hallmark Keepsake Artist, the 2011 Christmas ornament features a base that you turn to mark December 1 and the subsequent days until Christmas. Each day when you turn the knob, you will hear from Santa as he and the elves prepare for Christmas. On December 1, Santa proclaims, "Tis the first of December, the North Pole is humming, every creature is stirring cause Christmas is coming. There's lots to be done before Santa can leave on that round the world journey he makes Christmas eve."

On this page, you will learn a bit more about these Countdown to Christmas ornaments; view the sweet Hallmark Christmas commercial featuring Elsie Fisher, the young girl who voiced Agnes in the recent animated movie Dispicable Me; and find sources from which to order your own Hallmark Countdown to Christmas ornament.

Christmas countdown is a family tradition. A hundred days before Christmas we usually start making our list and planning our Holidays.

We have a Christmas countdown calendar that we've had for years and use it - when I remember to put it out - even though the kids are grown and gone. I really like this Hallmark countdown calendar clock. Fun!
