Think About Decorating Things In Your Home That You May Never Have Considered Decorating.
Take a good look around your home, and consider items that you may not have ever considered decorating for the holidays. I have a wonderful Grandfather clock that was passed down to me. This heirloom has wonderful memories. It was my favorite aunt's pride and joy. In fact, I was with her the day she purchased the clock in the early 1960's. She took great pride in the clock, always keeping it spotless. I just know she would be pleased to see it's still in the family, and well cared for, and cherished. I decorate the clock every year, it always brings back such wonderful memories of my aunt and her lovely home. The clock makes such a festive statement.
Christmas Clock Vignette
This decorative vignette that adorns my grandfather clock includes many wonderful old antiques. The Carolers book and vintage boxes of all kinds. I use a garland with lights which give a beautiful glow in the evenings. "I think this vignette makes a great statement of Christmas's of old..."

Plus, when my grandchildren visit over the holidays they always are well entertained by the toys under the tree. Notice my festive tea table all et up for an afternoon holiday tea party...
Welcome To My Dining Room ... A Very White Christmas
My dining room tree is all white, and feathery. I love this tree. It's magical and so nice to have dinner with. Think of adding some fresh flowers to your home. I love this time of year, it is a time that I keep white roses on my dining table all season... I like Costco's roses, they are healthy, beautiful, and inexpensive. The cost $ 13.99 for two dozen.
I Love To Use Snowy White Decorations in My Dining Room... Fresh white roses are always on my Holiday Dining room table.
