Diamond Candles - A Mother's Day Gift Ring in Every Candle

Updated on May 1, 2016

Each Diamond Candle contains a ring worth $10, $100, $1000 or $5000

Diamond Candles are scented candles made of soy wax. Each candle has a ring, wrapped in foil, buried in the wax. Sounds gimmicky right? Well, it is, but I think it's a great gimmick. Rings vary in value from ten dollars to five thousand dollars. Imagine getting a valuable ring in your candle! It's a great, fun gift for your girlfriend or your mom, or any person who loves a little sparkle.

I think this a perfect under $25 gift because it's exciting, it's a surprise, it can be romantic (without being dramatic or too serious), and it's easy. Hit the website, pick a scent or a color she likes, get the Diamond Candle in the mail, and you're done getting an awesome present without shopping, driving, or angst. Pair it with a dinner and some wine, and you will be a hero.

Diamond Candles has many promotions and contests, so you can get one for a very good price or perhaps free shipping - check the links below.

My first Diamond Candle was a birthday gift and I loved it. I am hoping to get more!

My Experience

My friend gave me a Diamond Candle. It was Hawaiian Coconut, very strongly scented, it came in a large reusable glass container, and...it had a ring hidden in the wax. About four hours after I lit my candle, a small gold foil package was revealed. I blew out the candle, carefully pulled the foil out with tweezers, and opened up the package. Surprise! My new ring fit my finger, had a purple stone with clear side stones, and had both silver and gold metal in the band. I was hooked!

Diamond Candles are all made in America. I like that. The wax is environmentally-friendly soy, which is very clean- and long-burning. The wicks are lead free, which is something I always look for. The lidded cylindrical glass containers are high quality and reusable. In fact, there are pictures of creative uses for the empty containers on Diamond Candles' Pinterest page, thought of by customers.

Create a Unique Gift

Diamond Candles are terrific gifts, but candle accessories are a thoughtful touch to include with your gift. It shows you made the extra effort to create a gift with all bases covered!

The right tools

WICKMAN Candle Accessory Gift Pack - Set of 3 - Wick Trimmer, Wick Dipper & Bell Snuffer
WICKMAN Candle Accessory Gift Pack - Set of 3 - Wick Trimmer, Wick Dipper & Bell Snuffer

People who love candles appreciate this gift even more than another candle! I know from experience - trying to use tooth picks and my fingernails to manage my candles was messy and useless. The proper tools make a big difference. And the snuffer in this kit is wonderful! No more clouds of smoke after blowing out my candles!

The right lighter

1 X Wickman 12" Pewter Butane Torch - Candle Accessories Gift - WL01-WICK

Candle burning can be pleasant and relaxing, why use matches and ruin the experience? An attractive, refillable lighter designed for candles, that won't smell up the room like matches do, is a small luxury worth investing in.

How Much Are Diamond Candle Rings Worth?

The rings in Diamond Candles are worth anywhere from $10 to $5,000 dollars. Obviously, most of the rings will be costume jewelry, but people do discover real silver, gold, and gem rings. The ring with the purple stone I got from my birthday Diamond Candle turned out to be a real amethyst and white sapphire ring that my jeweler said is worth about $350. Not bad!

How can you tell what your ring is worth without going to a jeweler? Look on the inside of your ring. If there are no markings, or it says China or Thailand, it is almost certainly a $10 costume jewelry ring. Other markings? It might be worth hundreds or thousands!

From what I have seen on the Diamond Candle Facebook page and on Pinterest, the rings range from the truly ugly to gorgeous. The majority of the rings are the most common sizes, 6, 7, and 8, but plenty of people have gotten bigger and smaller sizes. If you get a ring that you don't like or that doesn't fit, there is an active trading community on Facebook!

Jewelries are treasures which are worth treasuring. Keeping it in a candle is more safe should no one knows this, but you.
