Gift Baskets For Every Season

Thursdays and holidays are fantastic! There is always a special occasion around the corner, a time to celebrate, from January to December, all year long. Grab a gift basket and let's go.

Christmas, Easter, New Year, Thanksgiving, and birthdays are some of these occasions. Especially my birthday!

Any holiday that involves candy and baskets is OK with me.

OK then.

Every holiday and every season deserves a gift basket or two.

How To Make Easter Baskets

Bowls or Bags

Let's get something pretty to put the candy in, a proper Easter basket, a regular basket, a pretty bowl or bag.

Then comes the grass. Buy it or make your own. One piece of green paper, or pick another color. Then cut it into thin strips and drop casually into the basket.

It might just be me, but I think a wrinkled brown paper bag looks a lot like a nest. Another thing a naturalist might do is grab some pretty leaves from the garden to replace the grass, maybe spearmint or something else sweet smelling.

I love making my own gift baskets for all different sorts of occasions. You can really personalize them.
