How to Make Easy Santa Christmas Cupcakes

Kids love to help make these cupcakes!

Ingredients for Christmas Cupcakes

- 1 package of your favorite cake mix

- vanilla frosting

- shredded coconut

- red candy sprinkles or sugar sprinkles

- chocolate chips

- mini M & Ms

To make these fun Christmas cupcakes, you'll first need to mix and bake your cupcakes according to the package directions. Then allow the cupcakes to cool completely before you start decorating.

Once the cupcakes have cooled, frost each one completely with the vanilla frosting. Then cover the top third of the cupcake with red sprinkles to form Santa's hat. Next, pipe a line of frosting along the bottom of the red sprinkles to create the "fur" lining on the hat. In the middle of the cupcake, place two chocolate chips (point-side down) to create the eyes and use a red mini M&M to create the nose. Alternately, you can use regular-size M&Ms to create the eyes and mini M&Ms to create the nose. Finish by sprinkling shredded coconut across the bottom to create Santa's beard.
