Treasure and Scavenger Hunts: How to Plan, Create, and Give Them!
Treasure and Scavenger Hunts: How to Plan, Create, and Give Them!

Treasure and scavenger hunts aren't merely for children's parties; adult community organizations use them for fund-raisers and just for fun. Burgett has suggestions for kids and teens, but his focus is really on adult playtime. He's aware of the many drawbacks and potential hazards to scavenger hunts and provides solutions. He also gives advice on the celebrations that often accompany hunts and also suggests how to handle invitations, food, and, of course, the hunt itself.

We do little mini scavenger hunts around our yard when my kids get bored. It's a great way to sneak exercise into their day.
