How many trick or treaters showed up at your house?
My neighbor hood is getting worse each year. We only had 9 kids come by for candy, now I got three bags to eat and I don't like sweets that much.
We live in an apartment building that has children but none of them trick-or-treat here. A lot of people have opted for parties with people they know, or they go through malls where people have made donations for the little ones to pick up treats at each store. I usually take advantage of post-halloween sales and stock up for stocking stuffers
Six. . . .all from the same family. I told them, "this is a republican house-the candy is on the roof, maybe it will trickle down for you!"
Poor children.
We had about 50 in our small rural town. Our street is known for being friendly to kids and the weather was really nice.
The good news is that I love sweets and I'm totally willing to take those three bags off your hands. Isn't that generous of me? *grin*
Not very many this year. It was way down. Different organizations are having Halloween parties instead and the parties have so much to offer that the kids don't want to waste their time trick or treating.
None.
I live in the woods. Children in the vicinity usually go to the small town near us.
I usually buy a nice bag of chocolate candy anyway-- if I have to eat it myself, that's the sacrifice I make for the kids.
i think we had about 30. each year it seems to be a little less and it sucks because i love seeing all the funny and cute costumes. the good thing is i get to eat the left-over candy.
None whatsoever, which was a real dissapointment. Here I was stocked up on 12 gauge shells and not so much as a lady walking a chihuahua was out Halloween night.
This year we had about 50 kids. The weather was excellent, which sure helped the numbers.

I've heard that in some subdivisions and apartment buildings, people can expect to get as many as 500 kids looking for candy.I'm glad I moved to the countryside and only expect a few as parents drive them from house to house. My small town has a Trunk or treat event for two hours on main street.

How many trick or treaters did you get this Halloween? We only got about 40 to 45 which was a little low this year. Is trick or treating not as popular as it used to be?

What was your Halloween night like last night?Last night we had such a dreary, cold, windy and wet Halloween night that all the little darlings did not come out as usual due to the inclement weather. However, the night did lend itself to the perfect conditions of a spooky Halloween night...

Halloween is fast approaching only a couple of weeks away. Do you get trick or treaters in your neck of the woods. I don't, but, even though diabetic it doesn't stop me from getting candy to hand out . . . just in case. I got 2 bags of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and one of Kit Kat candy bars to...

Me and one of my best friends since 7th grade (who's about 6 inches shorter than I am... I'm 6'3") are going to be Mario and Luigi!

What is the age limit for trick or treating in your area? Our area doesn't have a "rule" about the age limit of trick or treating but the news always has a story about how parents should try to plan an event for the older kids to be involved in so they aren't getting into...
