Disney's Limited Edition Frozen Dresses

Updated on October 1, 2014

Disney's Limited Edition Frozen Dresses Cause Buying Frenzy

If you are interested in the movie world at all, you will not likely have missed the widely successful release in 2013 from Disney of the movie Frozen. Movie goers young and old love this movie and the experts are calling it Disney's highest grossing animated film of all time.

Frozen is so popular with little girls that the movie merchandise has flown right off the shelves and some of it has become impossible to find. Amongst the most talked about and sought after items are the Disney Store Limited Edition dresses, which I have read had a limited release of 1,500 dresses. Of course, that number was not nearly enough and that fact has driven the price of these dress-up outfits to incredible amounts on both eBay and Amazon.

On this page, learn a bit more about these dresses, about the incredible frenzy they have caused and, if you are so inclined, where you can buy them. Please take a minute to participate in the polls or leave a comment at the end of the page. We are wondering how much is too much for a pretty princess dress and we would love to hear what you have to say.

Sometimes You Can Save By Shopping on eBay

If you are shopping for a REAL Disney Store, Limited Edition Anna or Elsa dress proceed with caution. Make sure that you do not pay a lot of money for a nightgown or less-expensive dress up piece. If you're unsure, make sure you ask questions. If the price is high you don't want to wind up with an inexpensive knock off. If the price is low, well you might be happy with a knock off but remember you get what you pay for. Proceed with caution.

These are really beautiful costumes! I am certain any little girl would feel like a princess when wearing one of them.

It may be me, but these are way too much money. Think I'd have to freeze some of my kids assets if she wanted one of these dresses.
