Full Moon Halloween Decorations
Creating a Full Moon Halloween Ambiance
Something about a full moon creates a fun and spooky atmosphere for Halloween decorating. Many of us, myself included, have a belief that some people tend to get a little crazy during a full moon. I remember when I used to work as an emergency psychiatric counselor, we and the rest of the emergency staff would dread full moons. It seemed like it really brought out the "crazy" in people. This, coincidentally, is where the word "lunatic" comes from.
Having a few fun and scary full moon decorations around for your party or trick or treating really adds to the mystery of all that Halloween represents. A full moon which occurs on Halloween is rare, but we can create our own with a little help from others with that sinister creativity that only epic full moon fever sufferers can conjure up!
Full Moons with Bats or with Witches on Broomsticks, Full Moons with black cats and ladders and crooked hats, Full moons in orange and eerie shades of gray, I hope to find the perfect one for you today.

Place your Moonlight lamp in one corner or high along one wall suspended from ceiling using hanging plant hook and strong gauge fishing line or wire, hiding your extension cord behind the sheets. Or, if you have a tall bookcase or stand to set it on, use that and just place the sheet over the front of it.
Create a full moon effect - With these cool tips!
Prepare your full moon area by darkening your area with fire retardant sheets in dark colors. Navy blue is more realistic, but black is spookier! Don't just cover the windows, but the whole room! Splotchy cover will just look tacky and will take away from the effect. If you cannot cover the whole room, just close the blinds and curtains as best you can and skip the dark sheets. Duct tape or small tacks should hold your sheets in place long enough for your Halloween party. Be careful not do damage to your walls and ceilings. You're going back to your comfy home after the party's over after all!

From a scene in The Nightmare Before Christmas, this large Halloween poster has a special effect. When you turn out the lights, it glows with a sinister Jack-O-Lantern-like face revealed in the full moon. It's so perfect for a Haunted House preview hall, a kids spend-the-night party,or a dance party decoration.
"Spooky South Carolina"
All at once, the moon came sliding out from behind a cloud, lighting the scene in front of me. And I screamed. I couldn't help it.

If we could only really "snap out of it" like Cher says!
Nick Cage is so charming and cute, I hate that Cher is so reluctant to let him in to her world. Fun movie and it's so true! We all get a little crazy sometimes.... and it might not be that we can blame it on the Moon!
Everyone is welcome! Thanks for visiting!
