Beyond Bottles of Wine - Why shouldn't you give Wine to Families?
For Three Main Reasons:
1. Not everyone in the family likes wine, and not everyone is allowed to drink wine! If your aim is to give a gift for one whole family (for example: your neighbors, or your close family friends, or your siblings' families), you should make sure that the gift you're giving is something each of the family members will like.
2. A lot of people (me included) choose to give wine as a last resort. It's a convenient and classy gift, that's for sure. However, because a lot of people give bottles of wine as Christmas gifts, the uniqueness factor tends to get lost.
3. If you want to give really great wine, then you might have to spend a bit more.
What can I give for Christmas instead?
