Handmade Bookmark and Book = Perfect Gift

Book lovers love to read, obviously. They also love getting new bookmarks. Give handmade bookmarks for an extra special way to show you care.

I'm liking those fabric bookmarks. That might be just the thing I could make with all the material I have stashed away. Now, just to find the time.

I have a few, including myself! My favourite bookmark at the moment is one made from ribbon with beads and charms. I like it because unlike thicker bookmarks made from leather or fabric (crochet, etc), the pages of the book stays flat. I also like to use scrapbooking techniques to make paper bookmarks. Great lens.

Practically everyone on my holiday list is a reader - and most of us love bookmarks. Great craft idea for the holidays!
